The coast extending from Mannar to Hambanthota via Galle may experience surges due to the effect of swell waves and sea areas can be rough at times, warns the Natural hazards Early Warning Center.
Naval, fishing communities and those who are living in coastal areas are requested to be vigilant in this regards.
