A few showers will occur in Uva province and in Batticaloa, Ampara and Hambantota districts, stated the Department of Meteorology.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at few places in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts after 1.00 p.m.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere over the island.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
