The State Ministry of National Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management has instructed to light up the buildings of Government Institutions for the 73rd Independence Day celebrations on 3rd and 4th February.
The State Ministry further requests the general public to display the National Flag from 01st to 7th February in all residents, government and private offices, vehicles.
The 73rd Independence Day will take place at Independence Square, Colombo under the theme of “An Affluent Tomorrow- Prosperous Motherland”.
