A total of 5 286 persons have received the Oxford Astra/Zeneca’s COVISHIELD Covid-19 vaccine today (29), stated the Epidemiology Unit.
The health staff and other frontline workers of Naval and Army personnel received the first dose of COVISHILD vaccine and the second dose is to be injected after a month.
No side effects were reported and the vaccination programme will be continued all over the country tomorrow.
