The World Health Organization (WHO) does not recommend the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine to pregnant women.
The Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) on Immunization of WHO made this statement issuing Interim recommendations for use of the Moderna mRNA-1273 vaccine against COVID-19.
They said that the use of vaccine is not recommended to pregnant women unless the pregnant women at a higher risk of exposure such as health workers.
Further, WHO said that the mRNA vaccine is not recommended to individuals with severe allergies and persons below the age of 18.
