A pepper oil distilling factory will be set up in Embilipitiya this month, according to Export Promotion State Minister Janaka Wakkubura. He said that 1,000 export villages and four export zones will be set up in Ratnapura.
The State Minister said that Pepper oil will be a money spinner for the country as there is a great demand for pepper oil in the foreign market.
He said the financial situation of the pepper cultivators in Embilipitiya and Hambantota will be raised four-folds as a result.
