UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe at a discussion with youth participants on the ‘Future of Sri Lanka and moving beyond Covid 19’ in Mirihana Nugegoda yesterday. This was held days after the party’s working committee appointed new office-bearers including a new general secretary and chairman, overlooking party seniors Ravi Karunanayake and Naveen Dissanayake among others.
Ambassador of Sri Lanka – Designate to the French Republic and Permanent Delegation of UNESCO Prof Kshanika Hirimburegama assumed duties in Paris recently. The Sri Lanka National Flag was hoisted by Prof Hirimburegama, at the chancery premises, followed by singing of the National Anthem by the attendees.
