Founder of Nishantha Textiles, Maharagama, Malavige Kamal Nishantha de Silva, who launched a large number of small-scale garment factories islandwide and provided about 1,000 employment opportunities, received the Deshamanya Honorary Award from the All Ceylon Cultural and Environmental Protection Organisation at its 37th Honorary Awards Ceremony at the BMICH recently.
