The US President Donald Trump’s verified Twitter account was permanently suspended by the Twitter Friday evening.
The suspension took place over fears of a second attack on Capitol Hill on January 17 three days before Joe Biden's swearing in ceremony.
Twitter said "After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence."
