Train service frequency increased from tomorrow

The train service frequency will be increased tomorrow (07) onwards stated the M. J. D. Fernando, General Superintendent of Railways yesterday (05).

With the relaxation of travel restrictions, there is a higher train passenger density.   Accordingly, some of the temporarily cancelled passenger trains will be deployed for safer passenger transportation as follows:

07 January onwards
