The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country exceeded 40 000, stated the Epidemiology Unit.
The total number of cases have risen to 40 380 with the total of 593 cases which were reported today (26).
There are 8 143 active cases in Sri Lanka while the death toll is at 186.
The total number of recoveries is at 32 051 and the mark of 32 000 exceeded today (26).
