President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Friday visited the Ravanakanda Village, Imbulpe, Balangoda under the third round of the “Conversation with the Village” Program (Gama Samaga Pilisandarak). The issues faced by the people in the village were discussed at a meeting at the Thorawelkanda Vidyalaya ground. The President instructed officials not to hinder the activities and traditional ways of life of villagers who enter forests for legitimate purposes, such as tapping Kithul trees.
