The United States (US) approved Moderna vaccine as the second vaccine for Covid-19.
A week after approving the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, the Food and Drug Administration of (FDA) authorised this US-made jab.
The US is ready to buy 200 million doses of vaccines.
The world’s highest number of Covid-19 cases and fatalities are reported from US, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
