Youngest Covid-19 death reported in SL

A 20 day old infant passed away today (08) due to Covid-19 infection, stated the Director of Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children (LRH).

The infant, who was a resident of Thotalanga, Colombo was admitted to the hospital last night (07).

Accordingly, this is the youngest to succumb of Covid-19 in Sri Lanka.
