Divulapitiya Young Lions CC, Harry Batsman CC Gampaha, Henegama Cricket Club and All Knights Cricket Club recorded wins in the opening weekend of the Gampaha District Inter Club T20 cricket tournament last week conducted by United cricket Club with 16 teams in the fray.
All matches were held at Sri Walisinghe Harischandra Cricket Stadium in Katana and the tournament was well contested until the coronavirus crept in to ruin the show.
Henegama Cricket Club beat Titans Cricket Club by 26 runs and All Knights Cricket Club beat Harry Friendly Cricket Club by 91 runs.
Harry Batsman CC beat Blaize Cricket Academy by eight wickets and Divulapitiya Young Lions CC beat SS Cricket Club by the same margin.
