The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) congratulated Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the new Government for the resounding mandate received at the General Election.
The Director General of the EFC, Kanishka Weerasinghe in a congratulatory press statement, extends EFC’s fullest support and cooperation in pursuance of achieving national objectives envisioned in the ‘Vistas of Splendour’, particularly in relation to urgently needed labour market reforms to boost employment generation with a focus on increasing women’s participation, human capital development including the setting up of a future-ready skills base and the promotion of inclusive workplaces.
