My motherland is Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful Island in the Indian Ocean. The capital is Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte. Our national flower is the blue water lily and our national tree is Na .
My country is famous for its beauty. There are beautiful waterfalls, rivers, national parks and mountains. The longest river is the Mahaweli and the highest waterfall is Bambarakanda. Piduruthalagala is the highest mountain. There are lovely beaches in my country. Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya are important historical places. I am very happy to be a Sri Lankan.
