The Ministry of Transport Services Management has decided to further extend the validity period of a driver’s licence.
The relevant gazette notification extending the validity period until July 31, 2020 was issued on May 20.
Previously, the validity period of a driver’s licence due to expire on April 30 was extended until May 31 due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
However, considering the prevailing situation, the validity of every driver’s licence that expires on May 31 has been extended till July 31.
