Former St. Peter's College and Havelocks hooker Rajeev Perera has qualified as a World Rugby Level Three coach making him one of the youngest Educators in Sri Lanka.

The Level Three course was conducted by Lee Smith from New Zealand who is a high performance exponent having worked with the All Blacks and Fiji teams.

Rajeev had a very quiet and silent rise as a trainer and coach at Havelocks whose team he also captained to win the inter club League in 2012 and above all does not take anything for granted.

He also went further to train, manage and coach Sri Lankan Sevens and traditional 15-a-side teams.

Currently Rajeev studies and coaches the forwards of St. Peter's College whose head coach is Sanath Martis as well as club side CH and FC and is being seen as a coach who is expected to strike it bigger in the near future.

Rajeev has also specialized in player profiling and management, team assessing, planning and analyzing opponents among other scientific aspects.

He was with the triumphant team of St. Peter's College who became Knock-Out champs last season after finishing as runner-up in the League.
