People can become sponsors of baby elephants at the Elephant Transit Home at Udawalawa, which is also known as Ethathurusevana. Elephant transit home sources said that one can become a sponsor of a baby elephant by making a payment of Rs.10,000. People can also donate milk food to the elephant transit home to feed babyelephants.
The elephant transit home provides refuge to elephants that have been stranded and orphaned in the wild.
