Wesley College has never won the schools league rugby championships but believe they stand a chance of staking a claim for the title as they launched their new jersey for the current season a day before they crushed Vidyartha College 36-6 in their opener.
They ended in the fourth slot at last year’s 12-team League and runners-up in the Knock-Out tournament.
This year they are led by their brilliant forward and Number Eight Samuel Ogbebor who will be one of the players to watch out for this season given his breaks and leadership qualities.
CDB Deedat Date Crown continued their annual sponsorship of the team with Metropolitan Group being the latest addition.
