What is it?
An Artsathon is a sprint-speed collaborative event in which arts professionals with a range of areas of expertise come together, share ideas, and generate collaborative project designs.
Who can join?
This event is open to all arts professionals working in or who want to work in the field of arts for reconciliation.
What happens?
You will spend four days working with fellow arts professionals to explore issues in arts for reconciliation, how to evaluate the social impact of arts, and building conflict-sensitive approaches and principle of ‘do no harm’ into your work. On the last day, you will have the opportunity to identify partners and start designing a collaborative multi-media art project suitable for digital dissemination. Funding will be available for successful proposals. Please note that the working language for this edition of the Artsathon will be Tamil and English.
