The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) held the inauguration ceremony of the Preliminary Certificate in Marketing (PCM) at the SLIM Business School Colombo recently. President SLIM Suranjith Swaris, Vice President-Education SLIM, Roshan Fernando, Chief Executive Officer/ Executive Director SLIM Sanath Senanayake graced the occasion.
The event also featured Dharshana Maldeniya (Senior Manager-Training Sales and Operations, MBSL Insurance, as guest speaker. The launch was themed, ‘Start the Extraordinary Start to Success’.
PCM is a three-month program. Being the most recognised entry-level marketing qualification in the country, it enables students to gain in-depth knowledge on the subject and industry practices.
Maldeniya enlightened the audience with insights highlighting various aspects vital for young marketers.
