Zahira College Colombo felicitated their Tennis Academy players at the College Swimming Pool Auditorium under the patronage of its principal Trizviy Marikkar along with the Chairman of the Board of Governors Zahira College Fauzul Hameed and special guest, Cawens Enterprises director HMM Rizwan.
Sports Committee Chairman MSM Faiz, head coach Ganendran Subramaniam and Fazli Lahir of the Tennis Committee were also present.
Board of Governors Chairman Fauzul Hameed had some encouraging words for the children when he called on them to overcome all challenges and look to the future in the sport.
He along with principal Marikkar and prefect of games Muhiseen Ariff presented the players who excelled in tennis with certificates, kit bags and balls.
Principal Marikkar presented a token of appreciation to HMM Rizwan the director of Cawens Enterprises the sponsor.
