Eric Hulangamuwa being presented with a memento for his services towards hockey by M. Maharoof the Secretary of the Hockey Association of Matale.
Eric Hulangamuwa, an old boy of St.Thomas’ College, Matale, former Secretary of the Sri Lanka Hockey Federation Coaches Committee and present Secretary of the Old Thomians Hockey Association was felicitated by the Old Boys Association Of St. Thomas’ College on June 23 at the College hall.
Hulangamuwa who captained the Sri Lanka Schools hockey team in 1997, was also an athlete who was placed first in the 200 metres and 400 metres at the District Meet.
After leaving school he represented the Matale district and later served as an administrator of the Selection Committee of the Sri Lanka Hockey Federation for a number of years.
