Colombo University won the Inter University Beach Volleyball Championship beating Kelaniya University two sets to nil (21 - 16, 21 - 19). The Colombo team was represented by F.D.S. Wimalasena and N.L.M. Nadeem.
In the women’s final between Rajarata University and Jayawardenapura Campus, Rajarata won the title also in straight sets (21 -15, 21 – 16) with K.P. Tennekoon and G.H.A.S. Jayaratne playing for the victorious team.
Secretary to the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation A.S. Nalaka was the chief guest at the finals and gave away the awards to the winning teams.
