The National Christian Council of Sri Lanka, which is a collective body of eleven churches and nine ecumenical organisations commemorates ‘World Press Freedom Day with a prayer service at the Baptist Church, Cinnamon Gardens, Colombo 7 at 4 p.m.
The service will reflect on the theme ‘Towards an Inclusive Society’ and through prayer, biblical meditations and song highlight the Christian perspective on the responsibility and the role journalists in Sri Lanka.
