NCC and Ports Authority CC registered wins in three days against Colts CC and Saracens CC respectively in their SLC Premier League Inter-Club Super 8 matches concluded at the Galle International Cricket stadium and SSC grounds yesterday.
Sachintha Peiris (NCC) and Charith Jayampathi (Ports Authority CC) took five wickets apiece in the second innings to bring their clubs victory.
SSC faced a tall task after Chilaw Marians CC set them a massive 540 runs target to win. Shehan Jayasooriya was outstanding for Chilaw Marians CC scoring 146 and 88 and capturing four wickets in the match so far.
The Premier Tier A league champions of the season will be decided on the result of this match which will continue on its fourth day today.
