MAS Intimates men and women took the Mercantile Table Tennis League Championships organized by the MTTA. The Championships was held at the S. Thomas’ College,Mount Lavinia Indoor Stadium .
Seylan Bank paddlers were the runners up in both men and women ‘A’ Divisions behind MAS Intimates. In addition to their major victories in Division A men and women MAS Intimates also won the championships of Women’s ‘B’ and Men’s C divisions to take major honour at this championships.
In the veterans class it was Astron Sports Club that carried away the Champions trophy, while in this division Commercial Bank Sports Club and Singer Sports Club were declared as joint runners up.
The Championship saw 23 affiliated firms participate in this year’s championship. The men’s teams participated in six groups from Group A-E and Veterans.

Men’s (B) Division: Champions Hayleys Group, runner up - London Stock Exchange Group

Men’s (C) Division: Champions MAS Intimates, runnes up - Commercial Bank Sports Club
Men’s (D) Division: Champions Dialog Axiata PLC, runner, up - Codegen International
Men’s (E) Division: Champions Sysco LABS, runner up - Synopsys Lanka (Pvt) Ltd
Veterans: Champions Astron Sports Club, Joint runners up - Commercial Bank Sports Club and Singer Sports Club
