The festive season is upon us and Mahaweli Reach, the colonial style hotel in Kandy, has once again designed an exciting line-up of seasonal events.
This year the Hotel stands adorned in accents of gold and silver. The Hotel will kick-off its seasonal bliss with its ‘Christmas Carnival’ on the 10th of December. The carnival is an event for the whole family complete with games & entertainment.
Christmas goodies’ stations, stalls with Christmas fare, carols in the evening and special barbecue nights are all set to add flair to the season.
The Mahaweli Reach Hotel will also be hosting three grand events during the season; a gala dinner on Christmas Eve, Lunch on Christmas day and a scintillating New Year’s Eve party.
The chefs have created exclusive, season inspired delicacies. On the menu are slow roasted turkey, paté of liver, roast beef, bacon wrapped goodies, honey roasts, smoked meats, grills, an assortment of seafood, an irresistible spread of winter desserts. Freshly baked warm cookies, chocolate truffles, mince pies, gingerbread goodies and a variety of other Christmas eats will be available at the Sugar Rush Hut. The Hotel will offer festive catering services and make available festive menus for pre-ordering. Seasonal hampers too can be purchased.
