The Royal College Group of ‘97 will host its 7th Royal College Soccer Carnival on the 21st October 2017 from 9 am onwards at the Royal College Sports Complex, Colombo 07. The 2017 Royal Soccer Carnival will follow the tournament format introduced last year, allowing more teams to participate. The tournament is structured as an inter-batch 5-A-Side (Futsal) tournament and divided in to 2 age groups namely the Senior Category (over 35 years) and Junior Category (35 years & below).
The Royal Soccer Carnival will also include an invitation 7-A-side inter School tournament for under 19 players from selected International Schools. Old boys of Royal College, their families and well-wishers are invited to drop in at the tournament to cheer on the teams and be part of this exciting event. There will be entertainment and refreshments to delight participants and visitors. The proceeds from the event will be channeled towards the continuous development of Royal College.
