Sri Lanka-Indonesia Association’s charity bazaar

The Sri Lanka-Indonesia Friendship Association (ALIFA) which is celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year together with the Embassy of Indonesia, has organized a ‘Charity Bazaar’ with a variety of stalls and entertainment at the Indonesian Embassy premises, No. 400/50, Sarana Road, off Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 on September 30 from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Bazaar will have stalls selling Indonesian, Asian and Sri Lankan food, clothing, handicrafts, jewellery, furniture, house hold items, electronic items and cosmetics.

There will be live entertainment in addition to cookery demonstrations, cultural dances and a children’s play area to entertain the young and the young at heart.

The organizers said a part of the proceeds will go towards helping children affected with cancer. The Bazaar is open to the general public who will be able to strike great bargains.
