St. Anthony’s College Wattala will hold the annual walk and get together on Saturday September 23.
The walk will commence from the college premises at 2.00 p.m. and proceed along the Old Negombo Road to Hendala Junction and along the New Negombo Road to Wattala Junction and via Avariwatte Road to Hunupitiya, Hendala Junction and back to the College.
Present and past students of over 15 batches, parents and well wishers are expected to take part in the walk. The rest of the evening will comprise a carnival commencing at 5 p.m., and live music by Marians at 8.30 p.m., which will be held at the College grounds. The College marked its 75 Jubilee this year with a Mass presided over by Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith on May 4.
St. Anthony’s College Wattala was founded by the Lasallian Brothers on May 4, 1942.
