A journey to space

27 August, 2017

On a beautiful morning, I went on a dream trip to space. I went to NASA in America. They gave me a space suit and I got dressed and got into the rocket. I was really scared when they started the rocket and when it began to go up. Suddenly we realised that fuel was running out. The rocket went down and down. I did not get excited. I pushed the gear of the rocket very slowly. The engine started again and it began to go up slowly. I hoisted the Sri Lankan flag on the moon. I knew I was an astronaut. People later congratulated me. I was very happy.
