Senior economist and author, Dr. Saman Kelegama passed away in Thailand on Friday.
He was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok.
His remains were due to be brought to his residence at Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7. Funeral will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m. .
He was 58 at the time of his demise. Dr. Kelegama was the Executive Director of the Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS) and Chairman, Singer Sri Lanka PLC.
