A wellknown philatelist Anura Samaraweera held a stamp exhibition at the Russian Cultural Centre recently. The occasion was graced by the Ambassador of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka, Alexander Karchava, Sri Lanka Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, Minister of Science, Technology and Research and President of the Sri Lanka - Russia Friendship Society, Susil Premajayanth, Chairman of People’s Bank, Hemasiri Fernando, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka and the Director of the Russian Centre in Colombo, Ms. Anastasia Khokhlova and CEO of the Russian Centre, Buddhapriya Ramanayake.
