The foundation stone laying ceremony for a new Buddha viharaya at Randenigama temple, Nikeweratiya, the traditional family temple of the Bogollagama family for over three centuries, was held with the participation of former Foreign Affairs Minister Rohitha Bogollagama and Mrs Deepthi Bogollagama. Here the former Minister makes the inaugural donation. Provincial Councillor Nilantha Rajapakse and UNP organiser N. Tennakone were also present.
