Nadun Fernando has been appointed as Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) chairman with immediate effect.
He takes over from T.G. Jayasinghe who served as chairman and managing director of CPC.
Fernando said his immediate task is to formulate certain plans for the uplift of the CPC, including the refinery and supplies.
“There are plans that we have already started, before my appointment, which we have to take forward.
Then, I also have the task to look into certain line-ups of the CPC, which are behind schedule and accelerate them,” he said.
