Former Superintendent of the Visual Display Terminal Department (VDT) of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd.(ANCL) Malcom Vindurampulle passed away after a sudden illness on Friday evening at his residence in Kelaniya. Vindurampulle was 68 at the time of his demise. Vindurampulle was an old boy of St. Anthony’s College, Wattala and represented the College in football in the late 1960s. He also played for the ANCL team.
Vindurampulle was the son of the late Berkie who was a cricketer and a First Division cricket umpire in Sri Lanka. Cortege will leave residence, 346/2, St. Mary’s Lane, Kelaniya for burial at St. Mary’s Church Burial Ground today (Sunday) at 4 p.m.
