Cartoon exhibition by Camilus Perera to mark 50 years of his art

President Maithripala Sirisena was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony of the cartoon exhibition by Camilus Perera to mark 50 years of his art at the BMICH on November 25. Over 250 cartoons based on characters Gajaman, Sirisbiris, Dakkoth Padmawathie,Thepanis, Godwin Ayya, Don Sethan, Magodis Thuma, Tikka, Sweeti, Mr. Lavaris’ by Camilus Perera are on display from November 26 to27. Ministers Gayantha Karunathilaka, Dayasiri Jayasekara and P. Harrison were also present. Here President accompanied by Camilas Perera takes a close look at some of the cartoons.
