Okasawa Hirusha of Japan donated desks, chairs, stationery, musical instruments and science equipment worth over Rs. 8,000,000 to Tissapura Junior School, Hambantota recently, with the assistance of former Director of Weligatte Science & Technology Centre M.D. Piyatilleke.
