Statistical workshop for journos

The Census and Statistics Department with the Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Ministry organised a workshop on improving statistical literacy among journalists at the Waters Edge Hotel recently. Here, the chief guest, National Policies and Economic Affairs State Minister Niroshan Perera at the event. National Policies and Economic Affairs Ministry Secretary M.I.M. Rafeek, Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Ministry Secretary Nimal Bopage, Census and Statistics Department Additional Director General Indu Bandara and United Nations Population Fund Country Representative Alain Sibenaler were also present.
