Under the MigrantWATCH 2016/17, the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOGSL) has organized a public lecture by bird expert Prof. Sarath Kotagama on New Updates on Bird Migration on Saturday, October 29 from 09.30 to 11.30 a.m. at Department of Zoology of University of Colombo. A field visit to observe migrant birds in Colombo’s Wetlands has been arranged on Sunday 30th of October starting from Thalawathugoda Wetland Park from 6.30–9.00 a.m.
