Child growth therapy training launched

16 October, 2016

For the first time in Sri Lanka, professionals working with children with special needs and their parents will be able to benefit from a practical and theoretical training program on Sensory Integration , filling a long felt void in the country.

The program is being arranged by the Cerebral Palsy Lanka Foundation (CPLF) from October 14– 8 at the MJF – CPLF National Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy and other Developmental Disorders, to mark World Cerebral Palsy Day.

“For most children, sensory integration develops in the course of ordinary childhood activities.. But for some children, sensory integration does not develop as efficiently as it should.
