The Diploma in Professional Human Resource Management (DPHRM) Certificate Awarding Ceremony 2023, organised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management - Sri Lanka (CIPM) was held at the BMICH recently.
Five-hundred students who successfully completed the DPHRM program and the Best Performer received their certificates.
The chief guest was President of CIPM Sri Lanka, Ken Vijayakumar .The guest of honour was Shameer Rasooldeen.
Vice President of CIPM Sri Lanka, Priyantha Ranasinghe, Hony Treasurer CIPM Sri Lanka, Col. Saman Jayawickrama, Chairman of the Board of Examinations, Dr. Neil Bogahalande, CEO, CIPM Sri Lanka, U. A. C. Obeyesekere, and Director, Professional and Academic Affairs, G. Weerathunga were also present. The guest of honour, Shameer Rasooldeen shared his experiences and wisdom in the field of Human Resource Management.
Head of the Business School, Anushka Earskin presented the CQHRM (Chartered Qualification in HR Management) Program, emphasising its pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of HR leaders.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of a book ‘Preventing and Handling Sexual Harassment’ authored by Dr. Arosha Adhikaram.
