The magical flute

28 March, 2022

This story starts in a faraway town called Hoorahie. There was a very greedy man who was very rich. He used poor people as his servants. They get punished by the greedy man if they did not finish the given task. So, the people in the town were very miserable.

There was a poor man who was the greedy man’s servant. He had a lot of injuries over his body, because of the greedy man. One day, he was sent to cut firewood. On his way, he found a snake. It was going to be captured by some hunters.

But he stopped them and gave all his money to save the snake. The snake asked “Why did you save me”? The man replied, “every animal has to survive to make this world beautiful”.

Suddenly, the snake turned into a god. The god said, “I’m the god of the jungle and you are the kindest person I ever met”. Then he snapped his fingers and a beautiful magical flute appeared. The god said to take it and use it only for good. The man thanked the god.

He wanted to try out the magical flute, He said, “I want some firewood” and played the flute. Then a sack full of firewood appeared. He was very happy. He used it to take the gold from the greedy man and gave it to the poor people.

The greedy man was very angry and sent guards everywhere to find the thief.

One guard found the thief and told the greedy man. He imprisoned the servant and took the magical flute. He punished him and took him to his living room.

It was filled with gold. Then the greedy man said, “I wish that this thief would be killed now” and he played the magical flute. But the magic did not work the way he commanded it to. Instead of the servant, the greedy man was killed.

Then he took the gold that the greedy man had and shared it with the people in the town.

The servant returned the magical flute to the god. Thereafter, the town was very happy and lively. People respected the poor man as their hero.
