I enjoy reading story books and I like listening to stories. My best time is bed time because my mother reads to me every night before I go to sleep. I know all the children’s stories and all the fairy tales. My favourite story is Cinderella.
The author of the original story of Cinderella was the Frech author Charles Perrault.
The story is about a pretty girl called Cinderella. She lived with her father who was a nobleman..
Her mother died when she was very small.
Her father married again but her stepmother and stepsisters were mean to her.
They were jealous of her because she was very beautiful. They made her wear old clothes and do all the housework.
But Cinderella never told her father anything. She was a sweet and kind girl.
One day, her fairy godmother helped her to go to a ball, where she met a handsome prince.
At the ball, she lost her slipper and the prince found it. He sent messengers to find the owner of the slipper and they found Cinderella. Then the prince married her. They both lived happily ever after, away from her wicked stepmother and stepsisters.
This is my favourite book because it taught me a lesson. I learned that if you are kind and good and patient, you will be rewarded in the end. Good things come to good people and Cinderella was good.
