Red is the postbox out in the street
Orange is the fruit so delightful to eat
Yellow is the marigold, gay and bright
Green is the grass we roll on with delight
Blue is the colour we see in the sky
Violet is the flower that is modest and shy
Indigo is the colour we don't even realise
And all these colours are in the rainbow.
