The annual prize-giving of Hejaaz International School ‘Celebration of Excellence -- 2019’ was held at the Bishop’s College Auditorium recently. President Counsel Saliya Pieris was the chief guest and distributed awards to the students. It was held under the patronage of Principal Zarina Mohideen Hizbullah. Vice Principal Hasna Iflal read the reports of the academic and sports achievements.
The most prestigious award ‘Hejaazite of the Year - 2018’ for the student who has been loyal, dedicated and disciplined throughout his school career was won by Zakkey Irshad. He received the award from the Principal and Director of the School. The Best Performance at GCE (O/L) National Examination 2018 was won by Salma Firoze and the Best Performance GCE (O/L) Cambridge 2019 was won by Aishath Faiha Abdullah.
Sectional Head Boys Ameena Bary Abdul Malik was felicitated for twenty five years of service by the Director of the School N.M.M. Hizbullah and Principal Zarina Mohideen Hizbullah.
Head Prefect of the Girl’s Section Aneeka Mohamed delivered the vote of thanks.
