A piece of information is that which informs a person about some news or provides knowledge. Information can be from different sources such as from people, television, radio, newspapers, books or magazines.

Newspapers contain news, entertainment and advertisements. They are most often published daily or weekly. They give news about what is happening around the world, expressing opinions in the opinion page and social and political news through the editorial.

Books contain information about stories. Most often they are published according to the need of the time. Books give information on what is happening around the world and about the author. Some books touch on politics and social problems. Books make us sensitive to certain issues in society.

Magazines are a collection of articles and pictures about various topics or popular interests and current events. These articles are usually written by journalists and scholars.

Encyclopaedias are a collection of short factual entries. There are two types: general and subject. General ones provide overviews on a wide variety of topics while the subject ones are more of a particular field of study.

Web pages allow you to access information on the internet through a browser. One of the main features is the speed on how you can access your information. This includes sound, pictures and videos.
